The marihuana tax act of 1937 launched the prohibition of cannabis in the United States. The motivation behind the 1937 act was an outrageous combination of racist ideology, fraudulent science and self-serving economic interests perpetuated by Harry J. Anslinger, America’s first “drug czar.”

Today, 1937 cannabis products aim to deliver an experience created by a diverse group of scientific and community minded individuals who are committed to working together to heal the wounds of prohibition.
