RedGroup was founded in 1994 by Lars Runquist with the goal of a more collaborative resource, where designers and engineers work together to create better products more efficiently, instead of throwing ideas over the wall. RedGroup was recently acquired by Carlisle Companies and looked to Replace to help with a brand update.

 

We embraced the classically strong typeface Helvetica Neue for the logotype. We then customized the heavy cut to create a more unique and industrial logotype. Our final brand deliverables included infographics, iconography, advertising materials, and UX/UI explorations for the group.

Design Process

We started with 5 directions that all focused on the technical expertise that RedGroup provides. Right away the hexagonal and RG monogram directions were liked by the client.
