Twin Ignition is a new co-working space located in Northeast Minneapolis. Replace was psyched to design the identity, styleguide, custom typeface, and interior signage. We also worked to design and develop their new website, which included a custom hamburger toggle we coded in-house.

 

The original building was constructed in 1893 and over it’s hundred year history saw tenants such as an electric company, a furniture repair shop, and an auto parts store. We openly embraced the aesthetics of those business’ when designing the branding.

TWIN IGNITION – KEG HOUSE

 

The Keg House was a 2023 expansion for Twin Ignition. Space was filling up at the Startup Garage so after purchasing the much larger property, Replace was brought on to concept signage and UX/UI for the website. The website features an interactive map to show what spaces within the building are available.

Design Process

We originally explored pool hall themes, tech-forward approaches, and classic auto design. Given the location’s history, a classic auto direction with splashes of tech-forward design moved forward to become the final Twin Ignition brand.
