Just in time for the presidential election, “Poster Offensive” returns with a politically charged art show. Now in its sixth year, the group exhibition features work in response to our current political and social climate. Past efforts have included a variety of pieces ranging in tone from hopeful to humorous to vitriolic, and covering topics such as global warming, war, feminism, and mounting debt. The nonpartisan project, started in 2004 by Jeff Johnson of Spunk Design, continues to showcase artists local and national. Posters will be available for sale during the opening event, and guests are welcome to wander over to Amsterdam next door, as the bar is co-hosting the party with snacks and live music. Things kick off at 7 p.m. this Saturday, November 3.
FREE Opening reception 7 p.m. Sat., Nov. 3
Location: 375 Wabasha St. N St. Paul, MN (651-222-6428)
