Big Table Studio on the MPLS Egotist

Our friends down at the St. Paul poster shop Big Table Studio, led by the Bearded Wonder Peet Fetsch, was featured today on the MPLS Egotist. The guys over there have started a new feature called “Cross the Water Wednesday” and they felt that BTS (bigtablestudio.com) just happened to fit their definition of “Saint Paul goodness”. Right on, guys!

Pledged in Ink

We here over at Spunk Design Machine love Equal Exchange. We equally love what they’re doing to bring the fight to big plantations. Recently we were over at Big Table Studio slinging some ink to support their cause. Stand with Small Farmers.

The Roses Have Risen

The Spunk garden is producing everything from peppers to sunflowers and even roses. These beauties almost didn’t make it through the transplant, but are now flourishing thanks to a steady diet of heat and water.

3-Legged Monster Out Back

Check out the gigantic, gorgeous, and remarkably heavy-duty, 3-legged picnic table, which was designed and custom built for Spunk by David Pittman. The table sits in the Spunk shop “garden area”, which is turning out to be a very enjoyable backyard oasis.

Artcrank in the Big Apple

Artcrank, friend of Spunk Design Machine, is entering New York in the near future and they’re sending out a Call for Entry.

From the Artcrank website:

“All ARTCRANK show feature posters created by artists and designers who live and work in the city that hosts the show. Our final roster will feature 30 artists from the New York, each of whom will produce a limited edition bike-inspired poster that we’ll display and sell at our event.”
