Our long-time client, colleague, design industry leader, and friend, Tom Fisher from the University of Minnesota College of Design was just featured in an amazing article in the MPLS Star Tribune. “Design Thinking” can solve a host of problems. It really can, And to his credit – and to my endless appreciation – Tom was the sage, patient client that talked me off the damn ledge when I nearly resigned the U of M College of Design as a client when the going got rough. And it got pretty damn rough in those disruptive days of brand integration. The College of Design was (and is) a new College at the U of M. The College is nearing its first full decade since its creation. He is the real deal. And as a result, the U of M College of Design has earned stellar growth and achievement under his leadership. I love this guy.
