We’re both pleased and honored to take home an AIGA (Re)Design award for sustainable design! Equal Exchange’s tea.coop microsite campaign (designed by us) was chosen as one of the recipients of this years awards and we couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to both the AIGA and Equal Exchange. To view the other winners (and ours) you can click here!
MN INVENTS is a poster series by Replace, designed to celebrate the inventive spirit of Minnesota. It’s the secret & ongoing history of the great Minnesota inventive culture.
MN INVENTS things like the first digital computer, the first supercomputer, the first pop-up toaster, the first retractable safety belt, the first in-ear hearing aid, the first pacemaker, the first skyway, the first pair of water-skis, the first internet search engine, the first handled grocery bag, Spam, and just recently, a remote-controlled helicopter you can fly hands-free with only your mind! MN INVENTS wants to reveal this amazing inventive Minnesota history to the world. The list of inventions is very long, and gets longer every year.
Check out the posters on our MN Invents site here
We wanted to take a moment today to announce the new launch of studio friend (and ever patient wife of Replace designer Dustin) Lisa Hackwith’s brand new website. You should check out all the cool things she’s made here.
We are proud to announce the launch of the JM Gordon Lighting site (Replace-designed, Room 34 developed).
We’re honored and humbled to be featured on the Minneapolis Egotist for our design work with the Seward Coop.
We are just as honored to have worked with such a great organization (Seward Coop) on such a fun project. Speaking of ego, also check out the fresh new Seward website, (which we also designed.)
It’s award season again and the AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts) is putting on the (Re)design competition focusing on the impact of design projects, including environmental, economic, social and cultural. Replace is honored to have four of the thirty-six 2013 finalists going onto the final round be our own projects! Special thanks to Birchwood Cafe, Equal Exchange with Tea.coop, Naked Civics, and Chowgirls for your partnership in these projects and in your ongoing awesomeness! All of the work to come soon on our website.
We’d also like to give a shout out to the newest Replace addition Haley for her work on Epic‘s Youth Farm Rebrand also being one of the finalists.
You can see the rest of the finalists here. You can also check out Epic on Facebook here.
Replace client and local celebrity, Andrew Zimmern, is in the press again. This time we see him on the cover of Vita.mn promoting some eats that are perhaps off the beaten path. You can find a list of the restaurants here or just track down AZ Canteen food truck for lunch instead!
