SUSTANT is the overarching company that develops innovative and high quality building sealants. Their products include the SIP-SEAL® line of adhesives, caulk, and flashing tape for structured insulated panel (SIP) construction and the SealSkin™ line of products that feature sealants and an innovative patch for fastener holes.

 

We designed all brands and their associated packaging. Strength was the focus for all brands so we utilized bold san-serif typography. We also looked at the geometry of structured insulated panels that the products are used on as inspiration for our logotype modifications and logomarks.

SealSkin™

 

SealSkin is the newest line of products from Sustant. They are compatible with most common substrates and are tested to exceed industry standards, with high UV resistance and no harmful plasticizer or chemical release after applications.

SIP-SEAL provides adhesive and sealant products for every aspect of SIP panel construction. We worked with the great folks at Sustant on a full brand refresh that included a variety of industrial packaging, UX/UI, motion graphics, and product photography.

Design Process

The industrial nature of SIP-SEAL’s products instantly influenced the design. We explored the geometries of SIP panels as well as bold, san-serif type treatments for the identity and packaging.
