RedGroup was founded in 1994 by Lars Runquist with the goal of a more collaborative resource, where designers and engineers work together to create better product more efficiently, instead of throwing ideas over the wall. RedGroup was recently acquired by Carlisle Companies and looked to Replace to help with a brand update that included a co-branding excercise to show how the Carlisle id could work with RedGroup. We embraced the classically strong typeface Helvetica Neue for the logotype. We then customized the heavy cut to create a more unique ID. Replace also generated a version of that customized type to help headline copy tie in with the logotype.
