Northfield, Minnesota, nestled on the banks of the Cannon River, is the quintessential small town. It’s a vibrant community of thinkers, artists, entrepreneurs and cultivators of the land. Stroll through the historic downtown, take a hike in one of Northfield’s many parks or experience the energy and unique culture on one of our two college campuses.

Replace was honored to work with Northfield on their recent brand update. We wove in aspects of the previous identity into the new. We also created unique N illustrations for the city to reflect its unique architecture, environment and the various city departments.

The other task we took upon ourselves is to revise the old tagline; Cows, Colleges & Contentment. We love the original and instead of a total revision, we opted for a variable tagline that keeps Cows and Colleges but swaps contentment for community, charisma, comraderie, etc.
